Ingredients
  

Eggs

Filling

  • ½ cup mayonnaise Adds rich creaminess
  • 2 teaspoons pickle juice Provides a tangy twist

  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles Adds crunch and flavor
  • to taste Salt and pepper Enhances flavors

Dye

  • 6 ounces water For dye
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar Intensifies dye
  • as needed Food coloring In desired hues

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the eggs in a large saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. Turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes.
  • Drain and rinse the eggs under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Dyeing Eggs

  • Peel the eggs and prepare the dye by mixing food coloring into cups of water and adding vinegar.
  • Soak the egg whites in colored water for about 10 minutes to achieve the desired color intensity.

Making the Filling

  • Cut the boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks into a bowl.
  • Mash yolks with mayonnaise, pickle juice, mustard, dill pickles, salt, and pepper.

Filling the Eggs

  • Use a piping bag or ziplock bag to fill the colored egg whites with the yolk mixture.

Serving

  • Arrange the finished eggs on a platter and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs or smoked paprika before serving if desired.

Notes

Ensure to maintain a gentle boil to prevent cracking. Experiment with dye techniques for unique designs. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
