Ingredients
  

For the Sauce

For the Sandwich

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter Enhances the flavors.

  • ½ pound shaved steak Tender and juicy, the star of the sandwich.
  • 4 large eggs, beaten Fluffy and protein-packed.
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning A bold blend that elevates the steak’s taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds a savory umami element.
  • ½ teaspoon salt Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 2 slices American cheese Perfect for that cheesy goodness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and dried dill until well combined. Cover and refrigerate.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sprinkle with salt. Cook until golden brown and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble gently until just set, then remove from heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the shaved steak with Worcestershire sauce and Montreal steak seasoning until evenly coated.
  • In the same skillet, melt the last tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Return the caramelized onions to the skillet with the steak and stir to combine.
  • Divide the steak and onion mixture into portions, layering a slice of American cheese on top of each portion and allow the cheese to melt.
  • Toast the bagel halves until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Spread the prepared sauce on each bagel half. Layer the scrambled eggs on the bottom half, followed by the melted steak and onion mixture. Place the other bagel half on top.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra touch, consider adding fresh herbs like arugula or spinach. For a bit of heat, add hot sauce or red pepper flakes. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
