  • 1 oz packet taco seasoning Aromatic and flavorful, this seasoning elevates the beef.
  • 2/3 cup water Ensures the taco seasoning blends perfectly with the beef.

For assembly

  • 15 oz can nacho cheese sauce Creamy and zesty, it adds a bold flavor that's hard to resist.
  • 2 cups Mexican or Spanish rice Fragrant and wholesome, providing the perfect filler.
  • 4 tablespoons Taco Bell Creamy Chipotle Sauce Adds a smoky kick that enhances every bite.
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream Rich and tangy, balancing out the spices.
  • 1 cup tortilla strips Crispy and crunchy, they provide the perfect texture.
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese Melty and gooey, it pulls everything together.

Instructions

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Once done, drain any excess fat.
  • Season the beef with taco seasoning and pour in the water. Stir and let simmer until thickened.

Assembling the Burrito

  • Lay out the warm tortillas on a clean surface and spread a generous amount of nacho cheese sauce in the center.
  • On top of the nacho cheese, add portions of the seasoned taco meat, rice, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and tortilla strips.
  • Fold the sides inwards and roll tightly from the bottom up.

Grilling

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese in a clean skillet and place each burrito seam-side down. Grill until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Allow the burritos to rest for a minute before cutting in half.

Notes

Use a non-stick skillet for grilling. Warming the tortillas beforehand makes rolling easier. Customize with additional vegetables for added nutrition.
