Main Ingredients

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the creamy miso paste with a ladle of the hot broth until smooth.
  • Pour the miso mixture back into the pot and stir well.
  • Add the nutty sesame oil and soy sauce, stirring gently.

Cooking

  • Carefully add the gyoza dumplings into the pot and allow the soup to simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Once the gyoza are cooked, sprinkle in the chopped scallions.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Ladle the Gyoza Miso Soup into bowls and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use vegetable broth. Feel free to add extra greens or spices to enhance flavors.
