Main Ingredients

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the Italian sausage and ground beef along with the diced onions. Cook until both meats are thoroughly browned and fragrant. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Mix in the tomato paste and cook for about a minute. Stir in the pasta sauce and add the beef broth, mixing everything well.
  • Add Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, beef bouillon powder, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer.

Cooking

  • Break lasagna sheets into smaller pieces and gently add them to the skillet. Stir to ensure noodles are well-coated.
  • Cover the skillet and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until noodles are al dente.
  • Stir in the ricotta cheese and then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • You can transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 350 degrees to melt the cheese or continue cooking on the stovetop until melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra kick.
