  • 3 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces each) Transforms into a crispy, golden exterior.
  • 1 cup peach preserves or peach jam Bursting with juicy sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adds aromatic warmth.

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Provides sweetness for the glaze.
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream Ensures creamy consistency for the glaze.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin, ensuring it’s well-greased.
  • In a small bowl, combine the peach preserves and ground cinnamon, stirring until mixed.

Assembly

  • Unroll one can of crescent dough, pressing the seams together to form a rectangle.
  • Spread 1/3 cup of the peach-cinnamon mixture over the dough, leaving a border for rolling.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut in half, slicing each piece lengthwise.
  • Twist each strip gently and place into the muffin tin with the swirl facing upwards.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling until all muffin cups are filled.

Baking

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While baking, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth.
  • Let the cruffins cool for about 5 minutes before drizzling with glaze.

Notes

Allow peach preserves to come to room temperature before mixing. For texture, consider adding chopped pecans or walnuts. Substitute with other fruity preserves for variation.
