Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the cooked sausage, cream cheese, tomatoes, green chilies, and parsley until well blended.
  • Optionally, fold in the cheddar cheese and garlic powder.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a floured surface and separate it into triangles.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll towards the tip, tucking in the sides.
  • Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.

Baking

  • Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool them for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, soften the cream cheese beforehand and drain the tomatoes thoroughly. You can also experiment with different cheeses or herbs.
