  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped mushrooms, onion, celery, cornmeal, dried cranberries, beaten egg, poultry seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  • Portion the mixture into 24 meatballs, each about 1½ inches in size, and arrange them on the lined sheet pan, leaving about 1 inch between each.

Cooking

  • Bake uncovered for 18-22 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (73.8°C).
  • Once done, let them cool for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm with a side of cranberry sauce for dipping.

Notes

Consider adding finely grated cheese to the meatball mixture, and use spicy mustard or barbecue sauce for a tangy kick. Fresh thyme or oregano can enhance the flavors.
