Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened Perfect for spreading
  • 2 tsp sugar, split To balance the sweetness
  • 2 pinches cinnamon, split For an aromatic touch
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract Rich and flavorful
  • 2 to 3 pieces fresh strawberries, thinly sliced Ripe and juicy

For the quesadilla

  • 1 large flour tortilla Soft and tender, ideal for folding
  • 1 tsp butter For a golden-brown finish
  • to taste Honey for drizzling Optional for added sweetness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with half of the sugar, half of the cinnamon, and the vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  • Wash and slice your strawberries into thin pieces.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over one side of the tortilla.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Sprinkle the remaining sugar and cinnamon in the skillet.
  • Place the tortilla, cream cheese side up, in the skillet. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top.
  • Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then fold the tortilla in half.
  • Drizzle with honey if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Preheat your skillet to ensure a crispy tortilla. Consider adding other fruits or toppings for variety.
